As many restaurants looked to pivot to patio set-ups earlier this year, they were faced with the hard question of how to afford a full outdoor dining rig on the reduced income they’d been fighting throughout more than a year of restrictions due to COVID-19.
That’s when Central Display & Tents stepped up to help support the Prince George businesses. Normally, Central Display would be providing services for live events, like trade shows, concerts, weddings, and more. However, due to restrictions during the pandemic, most of that business was non-existent.
As such, Central Display & Tents had to get creative & resilient to keep their business afloat. However, when struggling local businesses looking to provide patio services with reduced restrictions on outdoor business came knocking with reduced budgets, Central Display extended a helping hand to their fellow community members.
Central Display & Tents worked with these businesses to often waive fees, give substantial discounts and halved rates, and occasionally offered delayed invoicing, all to help their fellow entrepreneurs deal with unprecedented circumstances.
Now, Central Display is working with the Northern Health Authority and other community organizations to help provide shelter for vaccine pop-up clinics & drive through vaccine stations, helping the community to receive their COVID vaccine in ways that work for them.
Central Display & Tents has worked hard to stay afloat through the pandemic, and has continued to help to support the community as it adapted to shifting restrictions and a return to capacity throughout the North.
Central Display & Tents is located at 150 Ottawa Street, Prince George
