Operating out of Prince George for over a year, the touring company offers a range of adventures, from day trips to week-long expeditions. Guided backpacking, snowshoeing, guided hikes, and paddling courses are just some of the activities they have to offer.
Founded by Meghan Keir, a certified hiking guide with winter accreditation, The Adventure Bus tries to promote the Prince George region as much as possible. Meg explains “we do the Sugarbowl/Grizzly Den area, Ancient Forest, Fang Mountain, and things like all of the lakes around Prince George”.
Residents of all experience levels can feel comfortable with Adventure Bus and finding a trip that fits their needs. Meghan says “we’ve had brand new people come out on hikes that are falling in love with it and signing up for everything we have coming up, and then we have seasoned people that might have had friends & family move away and need a new group of people to get out with”.
