Buskers Rock Merch & Venue is a rock diner in Prince George that offers rock merch like t-shirts, patches, pins, and more in addition to its diner menu options. The diner also serves as a community venue for events like open mics, karaoke, and live performances from bands & solo acts.
All rock fans can find something of interest at Buskers, whether looking for grunge, glam, or hard rock merchandise. Owner Amber Cross, says they “wanted a place to have rock merchandise since Prince George doesn’t have a place like this.” After finding a memento, you can stay a while and partake in the pub grub the diner has on offer, such as burgers, nachos, and more.
Before pandemic lock downs, Buskers had bands from across the province & more booked in to come to Prince George & entertain. However, just as Buskers was getting going, the restrictions caused performance cancellations and shut downs on live entertainment for places like the diner.
Cross says it was “kind of heartbreaking….we didn’t know what was going to happen one day to the next.” Now, with Prince George & BC opening up again and allowing live entertainment to return, Buskers is looking to provide a platform & stage for artists to be able to take back the stage and begin performing for fans after a long-awaited hiatus.
With food, atmosphere, and performances continuing to attract more and more members of the community, Buskers looks forward to bringing more entertainment to the city to perform for the residents that have become staunch supporters of the diner.
