Friday June 21 is Nation Indigenous Peoples Day. To honour and celebrate the culture of the Indigenous people of Canada the Lheidli T’enneh will be hosting a celebration this Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will take place on their ancestral lands and historical village site at Lheildi T’enneh Memorial park.
The celebrations will feature a wide variety of Indigenous artisans, musicians, drummers, dancers, all ages activities, Bannock and other food. In addition, there will be interactive information displays. The event is free to attend.
