I love smoked ribs and I love camping. You can have both with a Traeger Grillfriend!
Camping meals do not have to be just hot dogs and chips. With a little prep-work you can eat like a king. 3-2-1 ribs is a simple concept. 3 hours smoked on your Traeger Pellet Grill. 2 hours wrapped. 1 hour glazed.
I had the idea of doing that last step at the campground and let me tell you it worked!
I followed the 3-2-1 Ribs recipe on The Traeger Menu Guide. They make it so easy with their app to find recipes and inspiration for your next cook out.
My Ribs To-Go were with pork side ribs which were nice and meaty. Al over at RONA recommended Sticky Fix BBQ sauce as a great straight ahead glaze for pork and chicken. Make sure you have plenty of napkins!
Like I said with a little prep-work you too can eat like a King while camping. This recipe is about 6 hours of cooking. 5 hours at home with The Grillfriend and another 45-60 mins over the campfire reheating then glazing with BBQ sauce.
Enjoy!
