When you spend as much time as I do with your Grillfriend you’re bound to get a little dirty…I just picked up a BBQ Prep Tub JR by Drip EZ from RONA Capitail Building Supplies to help keep the kitchen tidy. I tested out this new gadget by making some party ribs!
Using the built in cutting board I cut each bone individually off a pair of baby back ribs. Popped them into the Prep Tub fully extended and hit the ribs with Holy Gospel BBQ Rub by Meat Church. Put the lid on the rub and gave it a good shake to make sure each rib was coated in rub. The unit works great by keeping your mess contained instead of on the counter.
The rubbed ribs went onto the Traeger Grill at 25o° for 2 hours getting spritzed with apple cider vinegar/water every 30 mins. Then into a foil pan with butter, brown sugar, Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce, and more of that Holy Gospel BBQ Rub. All wrapped up they’ll braise for another hour.
Remove the foil, give the ribs a mix in the pan and let them sit in the Trager Grill uncovered for another 10 minutes to let the sauce get sticky. Enjoy!
