The 2026 Songwriters Hall Of Fame Nominees have been announced. Classic artists are being honoured like Gene Simmons and Paul Stanely from KISS, Kenny Loggins and Sarah McLachlan. LL Cool J is also on the list thanks to his songs, “Going Back to Cali” and “Mama Said Knock You Out”. The honours also go to Swift with her songs “Blank Space”, “All Too Well” and “Love Story” to name a few.
This week is the 25th anniversary of Nelly Furtado’s debut album, “Whoa Nelly” and she had some bitter sweet news to share. On a social media post she stated that her life has been a roller coaster ride with very little regrets and she is looking forward to the next chapter of her creative career. Unfortunately this means she is stepping away from performing live for the foreseeable future.
Taylor Swift may be at the top of the charts but it’s Huntr/X who are showing others “How It’s Done”. Shortly after announcing plans for a new movie, merch is on the way. Action figures of the demon hunters, Saja Boys as well as some other characters are in the works. Here is hoping there are some demon cat plushies as well.
