Monday October 27th was a ball game for the ages. An 18-inning marathon World Series matchup with The Toronto Blue Jays visiting the LA Dodgers.
It was veerry long.
That 18 inning game has it tied for the longest game in World Series History! From the first pitch to the the final home run that ended the extra innings it was 6 hour and 39 minutes in lenth . Jays fans back in TO went to be close to 3:00am local time.
They almost ran out of baseballs!
In standard MLB game they may use 96-120 balls. In Game 3 they went through 220 balls of the 290 they had available.
