Drake went on Instagram to share the news that his most recent album, Views, is now officially the first album to achieve over 1 billion streams on Apple Music.
*The album also held held the #1 spot on the Billboard chart for seven weeks, making him the first man to do that in 16 years, since the release of Eminem’s 2000 classic, The Marshall Mathers LP.
Sony’s research lab have come up with a song written by artificial intelligence. “Daddy’s Car” is Sony’s first attempt at an AI-generated pop tune. A human composer (in this case, Frenchman Benoit Carre) takes the melodies and harmonies spit out by an algorithm and then adds the lyrics.
