CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery is a business located in downtown Prince George that specializes in creating fresh, handcrafted beer & spirits right here in our community.
Tyson James Brooks, Head Brewer at CrossRoads, states “We opened with the intention of bringing a spotlight back down to the downtown community”. He continues that their team enjoys getting the opportunity to bring residents downtown to see all that is going on and what the area has to offer. CrossRoads has also worked to embrace the history of the area & shine a spotlight of what has come before in Prince George, from the building they currently occupy to the names behind of some of their drinks.
In addition to the experience & spotlight the brewery provides, CrossRoads has also strived to give back to the community in different ways.
Whether through street events, fundraisers, or collaborations with others in the Downtown, CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery has worked to support many different organizations in the community like Relay for Life, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC, and plenty others.
This work includes the creation of a “Community Lager” where the proceeds of a limited edition brew’s sales went towards Relay for Life, as well as participation in the “Big Squeeze” – an event selling lemonade-style drinks in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC, where they created their own twist on a lemonade.
Even when forced to shutdown & move to deliveries, the community continued to support CrossRoads, which made giving back even more important for the downtown business. Whether through drinks, food, or the social atmosphere, CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery continues to serve & look for ways to give back to Prince George.
