Koops Bike Shop has been a member of the Prince George community since 1973, providing a large selection of bikes, parts and accessories, year-round repair/servicing department, as well as ice skate & gymnastic products.
48 years later, Koops is still supporting the community & helping to keep wheels rolling in Prince George. Koops provides assistance to many of the clubs in town, like Wheelin’ Warriors of the North, PG Cycling Club, Supertrak BMX, and more. Koops has also been seen supporting individuals, in the past helping to donate bikes to children or offer them at-cost to help those get out & about on two wheels.
Outside of the bike shop, Owner Marianne Koops has also worked to support Prince George through donations to organizations distributing food hampers, arts & crafts items, and other necessities to the needy in our community. Marianne feels that since the community supports Koops, they should support the community right back.
While helping residents to get active and outdoors has kept the bike shop busy during the pandemic, Koops is still working to keep up with demand while dealing with global shipping delays and shortages.
As the frost starts to form in Prince George, Koops Bike Shop is also excited to announce that this year, they will also be providing snowshoes for sale to help those take advantage of the winter weather in Prince George even more.
