New judge of NBC’s The Voice and beloved Canadian Michael Bublé told the other judges about the 1 time he sang the national anthem.
“I sang [O Canada] at a BC Lions CFL football game,“I was in a revue. I used to do Broadway shows and stuff. It was like an Elvis ’50s ish kind of thing. They had done like a doo-wop arrangement of ‘O Canada.’
“I don’t think we were great, and the announcer said, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has left the building, and we hope they never invite him back.’”
