2017 Downtown Winter Carnival – DOWNTOWN PRINCE GEORGE

  • Downtown Prince George is excited to partner with many organizations to bring a festive and winter carnival atmosphere by transforming Veteran’s Plaza and George Street into a winter playground in our downtown. Everyone is invited to join a fun road hockey game, slide down the ice slide, take a ride on the train, get inspired with our snow sport demonstrations or test your talents at snow sculpting and painting. 
  • The “There’s SMORE Downtown” contest invites you come up with a way to create your favourite smore recipe outdoors at the Downtown Winter Carnival. All the proceeds from your SMORE sales will go toward the charitable organizations of choice. 
  • Rounding out the day will be a spectacular showcase of snow carving art that will feature award winning international talent.
